Bengaluru: Meet these superbikers Appachu, Sridhar Maney, Venu Nair and Shashidhar Patil. They are travelling long distances on their superbikes and going great lengths to promote India as a bikers’ destination.

The quadruple will embark on a cross-border journey, travelling 10,000 kms across Mynamar, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia. The group will begin their trip from Guwahati on December 2, with Appachu, Patil and Maney returning to Bengaluru around December 23 or 25, and Nair carrying on with a solo trip to Malaysia and Singapore thereon.

These bikers have done off-roading in India too and have previously embarked on a couple of rides in South East Asia, of which Appachu reminisces about the challenges they faced covering the Golden Triangle.

Through their journey, the bikers will ride for an average of 8-9 hours to cover 500-700 km a day as they plan to interact with many motorcycle riding clubs and adventure tour operators to spread work about the country’s biking offerings
