Sushma Swaraj no more: Last rites to be performed at 3 pm today (August 7)

New Delhi: Former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday (August 6). Her body will be kept at her private residence in Dhawal Deep Building near Jantar Mantar Road in Delhi till 11 am on Wednesday (August 7) where people can pay their last respects.
At 12 noon, the mortal remains will be brought to the BJP headquarters on DDU Marg where all the senior leaders of the party will pay their last respects. The funeral will be held at 3 pm at the Lodhi Road crematorium in Delhi.

Sushma's last words on a public platform were to thank Prime Minister Narendra Modi for scrapping Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
