Rewari (Haryana): Students of Rewari Public School (RPS) in Haryana took part in the mourning meet organised by school authorities following the death of former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. Students observed a brief period of silence and paid floral tributes in front of a portrait of Sushma Swaraj.
Principal of the school Asha Yadav expressed condolences and said the death has left a void that cannot be fulfilled by anyone. The entire staff of Rewari Public School took part in the event.
Sushma Swaraj was born in Haryana and the place was close to her heart.
The former Union minister passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest on August 6 at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi. The last rites were performed today (August 7) at Lodhi crematorium in New Delhi.
