Thiruvananthapuram: The Kilimanoor police arrested a 45-year-old man on Tuesday for beating his son for not achieving full A plus in the SSLC examination.
Sabu was arrested after his wife filed a complaint, which stated that Sabu thrashed his son after coming to know that his son attained A plus in 6 subjects, and failed to achieve the same grade in four others. His wife also said to the police that her husband used to punish his son several times earlier too. Sabu is charged under IPC Section 323, 342 and Juvenile Justice Act.
