Katugastota (Sri Lanka): The Katugastota city police in Sri Lanka on Friday (May 3) arrested two persons after seizing an automatic pistol, nine bullets, two air pistols and an air rifle from their car during a search at the police checkpoint near the Sri Rahula Ground in Katugastota.
Following the interrogation, the police arrested two more suspects in connection with the possession of the weapons. The police officials refused to reveal the identity of the suspects and will be produced before the Kandy Magistrate’s Court on May 4.
According to reports, Katugastota Police are conducting further investigations to arrest people involved in this case.
