During an event held in Badami, Karnataka, Congress MLA Siddaramaiah was talking about reviving Kendur lake. He addressed the contractor to find out the scheduled time that it will take to complete the task. While doing so, Siddaramaiah courted controversy by referring to the tika on the contractor’s forehead. He said he is scared of people with tikas, almost taking a jibe at the right wing. BJP has slammed the statement with party spokesperson Vaman Acharya claiming that those who support anti-national groups will naturally be scared of nationalist groups.
