Bengaluru: A video of a cab driver, Mallappa, in Bengaluru speaking in Sanskrit has gone viral. It is a 45-second clip uploaded by Vishwa Hindu Parishad member Girish Bharadwaja on his Twitter handle. The tweet has been retweeted 3000 times and liked by over 7,000 people.

It is rare that Sanskrit is seen being used as the language of everyday conversation. The Sanskrit speaking cab driver believes that the language should be introduced as part of school curriculum in India.
