Ramanagara bomb scare: Karnataka Home minister says state govt will cooperate with NIA

Karnataka home minister MB Patil said that the state government has provided a room for National Investigation Agency (NIA) to aid investigation into the incident in which bombs were found in Ramanagara, Karnataka.

Bengaluru: In the wake of bombs being found in Ramanagara, Karnataka, its home minister MB Patil said that arrangements were made for the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to hold its investigation into the incident. He further added that as NIA comes under the Centre’s purview, the state police had no role to play in it. The minister also added that he met sleuths of the CID in the wake of suspected terrorists being picked and has instructed them to take all preventive measures.
