Pulwama attack: Maulana appeals not to target Muslims, Kashmiris

Bengaluru: In the wake of Pulwama attack and related developments, a Karnataka-based maulana has appealed to the public not to target Muslims and Kashmiris and term them terrorists as Muslims have also contributed in nation building and have died for the country. Maulana Maqsood Imran Rashadi of Jamia Masjid said, “Out of 42 CRPF who were martyred, two persons were Muslims. Similarly, the martyred soldiers are not in any particular community, but found across all the religions and they need to be respected.”

He appealed to both India and Pakistan that they should launch a joint operation and clean up terror camps. He also said that the captured soldier should be sent back respectfully.
