Puducherry: Ten persons, including the victim’s husband were arrested in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old woman.
The police said that the woman’s husband confessed to the crime. The man said that he and his wife had developed differences of opinion and confessed that he suspected of her infidelity. He then engaged people to kill her.
The police have now arrested 10 people in connection with the crime and have seized the weapons used in killing the woman. They have also seized a bike and a car.
The arrested are now lodged in the Kalapattu jail and will be produced before the magistrate.
Ganga had been killed on March 1. She was lying in a pool of blood when passers-by spotted her and informed the police.
