President Ram Nath Kovind departs from predecessor Mukherjee’s line

President Ram Nath Kovind exercised his right to vote on Sunday in a stark departure from his predecessor Pranab Mukherjee who didn't vote last time saying the President should also be seen to be neutral. Though no rule forbids the president to vote, it was a self-imposed rule by Mukherjee who exercised his right to vote this time. President Kovind votes in a polling booth in the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
