Kanyakumari: Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kanyakumari, deputy chief minister of Tamil Nadu, O Panneerselvam (OPS) said that Modi was no less than the Hindu God Lord Narasimha when it came to protecting India’s armed forces.
OPS also went on to say Modi has worked relentlessly in giving a befitting reply to terrorist outfits and the efforts are celebrated across the nation.
On Friday, Modi addressed a BJP rally in Kanyakumari and said that every Indian is proud that brave Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is from Tamil Nadu.
Modi will unveil a series of development projects for Kanyakumari and Tamil Nadu. These projects will play a vital role in enhancing rail and road connectivity throughout Tamil Nadu.
Modi will also be laying the foundation stone for two major railway projects and will also flag off Madurai-Chennai Tejas Express at a function. Laying of the foundation stone and flag-off of the train will be done by Modi via video-conferencing.
