Pakistani troops violate ceasefire in Jammu and Kashmir; 3 civilians including baby injured

Jammu: A Pakistani troop on Sunday (July 28) violated ceasefire by resorting to mortar shelling in which three civilians, including a woman and her baby, were injured. The incident took place along the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

During the ceasefire violation, several houses were damaged in the cross-border firing by Pakistan.

The injured were rushed to hospital amid intense shelling.

Another round of firing began from across the border in Mankote area of Mendhar sector around 8 pm.
