Coimbatore: A team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials arrived from Cochin and have been conducting searches in various locations in Coimbatore since 5.30 am, today (June 12).
The NIA is raiding residences of youths suspected to be in contact with members of the Islamic State (IS). These searches are said to be a continuation of the searches being conducted in Kochi, Kerala. Residents of the suspects in Anbunagar in Ukkadam, Kuniyamuthur and Pothanur are also being searched.
