Two-bike borne men threw Rs 10 denomination notes on a road near Kolar bus stop. While people were busy collecting them, the duo swooped in and robbed a man of Rs 3.30 lakh cash which he was transporting.
Kolar: Two thieves managed to rob a man of Rs 3.3 lakh while distracting him with 10-rupee notes. The thieves threw currency notes of Rs 10 on the Antaragange Road near Kolar bus stop. While people were busy picking up the notes, the thieves robbed Manjunath, resident of Muneshwara Nagar, of Rs 3.3 lakh.
Manjunath was transporting the cash from an MSIL bar outlet in Tamaka on a motorcycle, when he was distracted by Rs 10 notes strewn on the road. Two bike-borne men snatched the money from Manjunath and fled the place. Kolar Police visited the spot and registered a complaint in this regard.
