Students of Harbhajan Singh Institute of Cricket have expressed disappointment over the off-spinner not getting the Khel Ratna award. Here is what they think is the reason behind the decision
Punjab: The Union sports ministry has again quashed the request to honour cricketer Harbhajan Singh with the prestigious Khel Ratna award. This has disappointed many cricket fans and especially the students being trained at Harbhajan Singh Institute of Cricket. The trainees have blamed the (Punjab) government and said that Harbhajan has dedicated his life to cricket but has not got the award due to politics being played by the officers.
