Karwar: Saint Khapri Temple is situated near Karwar in Karnataka. A festival was held recently, where thousands of people belonging to various castes and religions came to worship the saint and offered him liquor, cigarettes and beedis that are said to be the favourites of the saint. People from other states like Goa, Maharashtra too frequent this place and it is believed that whatever is prayed for here will be fulfilled by Saint Khapri.
