Kochi: Jibin T Varghese was beaten to death by a gang in Kochi, Kerala. As per sources, the gang killed the youth for having an affair with a married woman. Kerala Police arrested seven people for allegedly killing the youth in Kochi after identifying them from the CCTV footage.
Similarly, a 27-year-old Adivasi youth, who was said to be "not of sound mind", was lynched at Attappadi in Palakkad by a mob, which had accused him of theft.
