Kerala transgender found dead; murder suspected

Kozhikode: A transgender was found dead on the roadside under mysterious circumstances in Kozhikode, Kerala, on Monday. The transgender is identified as Shalu, a native of Mysuru, Karnataka, who had been staying in Kannur. Kerala Police are examining the CCTV cameras installed at the spot were Shalu was found dead. Police also filed a case of unnatural death based on a complaint filed by another transgender Sisily George. Sisily told media that she strongly suspected that Shalu was murdered.
