Kerala's Rise Up Forum to help Cyclone Fani-affected Odisha

Kozhikode: Facebook group named Rise Up Forum which was working for 24 hours to rebuild Kerala is all set to help the cyclone-affected  Odisha. This Facebook group collects relief materials from different parts of Kerala and delivers them to Cyclone Fani-affected areas in Odisha.   

Earlier, the group was working to build new Kerala, which witnessed the biggest floods in 100 years in August last year. The Facebook group has already sent the first set of 200 relief packets to Odisha. They are collecting tarpaulin sheets, sleeping mats, bed sheets, sanitary napkins, candles, etc. 

Earlier, the group launched itself on WhatsApp and later ventured into Facebook. Now, Rise Up Forum has more than 200 volunteers in it.
