Kerala rains: 4 out of 7 missing fishermen return to Vizhinjam

Thiruvananthapuram: Four out of the seven fishermen from Kerala who went missing have safely returned home on Saturday (July 20). Four fishermen went into the sea during heavy rains on Wednesday night (July 17) from Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram. According to reports, they were trapped after one of the boat engines developed errors. But the fishermen repaired it and they reached back the shore on Saturday. The fishermen are identified as Louis, Benny, Yesudas and Antony.

A total of seven fishermen who ventured into the sea from Vizhinjam and Neendakara, Kollam, were reported missing. Among them, four from Vizhinjam have returned. However, three other fishermen hailing from Neendakara, whose boat capsized at sea, are yet to be found.
