Pathanamthitta: A 55-year-old NRI passed away on August 2, after allegedly assaulted by his daughter's lover. The incident occurred in Kerala's Pathanamthitta.
According to sources, the deceased Sajeev was brutally assaulted by his daughter's lover at his wife's house. He was rushed to a private hospital in Kottayam and was undergoing treatment there. But he succumbed to injuries this morning (August 2).
Sajeev who came to know about his daughter's relationship returned from abroad last week. He tried to have a word with his daughter and her lover to call off their their relationship. But the daughter's lover assaulted Sajeev.
