Thalassery: COT Naseer, an independent candidate from Vadakara Lok Sabha constituency, Kerala was attacked by two unidentified people. As Naseer was heading back home at 6pm on Saturday in his scooter, two people from a bike got down and attacked him on Kayyath Road, Thalassery, Kerala.
The former CPM leader quit the party back in 2015. He grabbed the headlines after he decided to contest against P Jayarajan in Vadakara. He sustained serious injuries from the attack and is currently undergoing treatment in Kozhikode medical college. This is the third time Naseer is being attacked since he quit the party.
