Kerala forest department finally trap tiger that attacked forest officials, five citizens

Kalpetta: A tiger, which attacked forest officials and five citizens at Cheeyambam in Wayanad, Kerala, was trapped in a cage. The violent tiger was caught by the forest department. 

Five sustained injuries following an attack by the tiger when they were helping the forest officials to catch the wild cat. The injured have been identified as Shajan, Jayan, Rajesh, Suresh, and Balan, who are temporary forest watchers of the forest department.  Shajan, who sustained serious injuries, has been admitted at a hospital in Batheri.
