Wayanad: Amid horrors of the torrential rains, the wedding of a woman inmate on Sunday (August 18) brought cheers to a relief camp in Wayanad, Kerala. Rabiya and her family was staying at a relief camp in Wayanad as her house was submerged in floods.
Though the family had earlier thought to postpone the marriage due to the rain fury, the other inmates of the relief camp persuaded them to go ahead with the ceremony. And finally, the relief camp at St. Joseph’s UP school turned a wedding house. Rabiya entered wedlock with Perambra native Muhammad Shafi on Sunday.
