Kozhikode: A report claimed that over 30 students have been booked for allegedly waving Pakistan flags inside Perambra Silver College, Kozhikode, Kerala. Students are said to be members of Muslim Students Front (MSF) accompanied by Kerala Students Union (KSU), a student body supported by the Congress.

The flags were allegedly waved on Thursday (August 29) during preparations for college union elections. Accordingly, cases have been booked under sections 143, 147, 153 and 149 of the IPC.

But the students have claimed that it is a MSF flag that looks similar to Pakistan national flag. The college governing body chairman AK Tharuvayi reportedly said that MSF flag was held upside down which made it look like Pakistan's national flag. He also said that the procession was held on a holiday and assured probe in the matter. However, BJP has alleged that terrorists have sneaked into the college campus.
