People informed fire tenders who along with the help of naval staff doused the fire before it engulfed the entire forest in Karwar, Karnataka.
Karwar: Accidental fire at Binaga Ramanagar forest area has gutted trees spread over two acres in Karwar, Karnataka. As the news of fire spread, residents tried to douse it with water, but they did not succeed. As the fire started spreading rapidly, they informed the fire tenders, who along with the naval wing staff rushed to the spot and doused the fire, saving the rest of the forest.
