Gurdaspur: The road construction of the Kartarpur Corridor that stopped a few days resumed on Thursday (August 29). Workers were seen laying tar on the main road of the Kartarpur Corridor which would reach the Zero Line border. The corridor would connect Darbar Sahib in Pakistan's Kartarpur with Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Gurdaspur district and facilitate visa-free movement of Indian Sikh pilgrims. The pilgrims will have to obtain permission to visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, which was established in 1522 by Sikh faith founder Guru Nanak Dev.
