Karnataka: Three tigers dead in ten days; poisoning suspected

Bandipur: At least three tigers have been found dead in the last ten days in different places in Karnataka. One tiger died after a likely territorial fight in Moolehole range in Bandipur; second tiger was found dead in Periyapatna and another tiger was found dead at HD Kote in Nagarahole after she  fed on a pig. The other two tigers are suspected to have been poisoned. Meanwhile, a young tiger was rescued from the snare in Nagarahole. Another tigress known for preying on cattle was found trapped at N Begur in Bandipur. The wild cat has been rescued and sent to a rehabilitation centre in Mysuru.
