Karnataka police detain 16 PFI activists for unpermitted parade rehearsal

Bengaluru: As many as 16 youngsters associated with Popular front of India (PFI) have been arrested by the Karnataka police in KR Pete Taluk of Mandya district.

They were rehearsing for a parade behind a dargah. Smelling something fishy, the police detained them and when they were subjected to interrogation, they spilled the beans. The PFI annual day is celebrated on 17th February.  The police has booked all of them under IPC 153/177.
