Bengaluru: Following the current political development in Karnataka, the BJP has booked rooms for its MLAs at Ramada Hotel in Doddaballapur, Bengaluru for four days, sources said. The development is the result of 12 MLAs from the Karnataka government resigning from their posts on July 6. If all resignations are accepted, the government will lose majority and the BJP stands a chance to form government, if they manage to get independents on their side. However, the Speaker will announce his decision on the status of resignation letters on Tuesday. The BJP will have a meeting today and reports claim that the MLAs will be shifted to the hotel after the meeting concludes.
