Karnataka man hacked to death by siblings over illicit affair

Gadag (Karnataka): A 28-year-old man named Basavaraj Gowda Naik was hacked to death near Gadag, Karnataka. He was forced out of his house by three brothers Panchappa, Ravi and another sibling for having an illicit affair with one of their wives. Infuriated at this, Panchappa and his siblings, determined to take revenge against him, killed him on Saturday (July 20). Later, they placed his body on railway tracks. As a train passed, the body was split into two. Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot. A case has been filed. Police have arrested two brothers, while the third one is absconding.
