Deralakatte: A 22-year-old youth Sushanth brutally stabbed his ex-girlfriend and later attempted to kill himself by slitting his throat at Bagambila near Deralakatte (Karnataka) on Friday (June 28).
Mangaluru Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil told media that the injured youths were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The victim was an MBA student in Udupi, Karnataka. She and Sushanth were in a relationship, and recently, called off the relationship.
Angered by the break-up, Sushanth decided to stab her and kill himself. A case was registered in Ullal Police Station, and further reports are awaited.
