Bengaluru: JD(S) president AH Vishwanath had submitted his resignation from the post of party state president on June 4, after the JD(S) failed miserably in the Lok Sabha election. However, party chief HD Deve Gowda did not accept the resignation and has been trying to convince him to withdraw the same.

Tired of being asked to withdraw the resignation, Vishwanath came before the media today and warned party leaders of resigning from the post of MLA too, if his resignation is not accepted. Vishwanath is an MLA from Hunsur constituency. Vishwanath also slammed Siddaramaiah and his authoritative ways of functioning.
