Tumakuru: Karnataka PWD minister, HD Revanna and newly-elected BJP MP from Tumakuru GS Basavaraj have lashed out at each other in relation to releasing water to Tumakuru from the Hemavathi dam. Revanna took cover under former prime minister and his father Deve Gowda's name by explaining what he has contributed. Earlier Basavaraj had said that if Gowda family doesn't release water from Hemavathi dam to Tumakuru, they would make the committee to force them to do so by using violent methods. Reacting to this Revanna said that Basavaraj is unfit to be an MP. Basavaraj had defeated HD Deve Gowda in the recent Lok Sabha elections in Tumakuru.
