Belagavi: BJP MP Anant Kumar Hegde was on a visit to Belagavi in north Karnataka that is severely hit by floods. People gathered and threatened that they would not vote for the Uttara Kannada MP ever again if they do not get compensation. Hundreds of people have lost their houses and are in rehabilitation centres. Known for his fiery speeches, Hegde was seen listening to angry people, who did not give him a chance to even respond. In one instance he was seen asking a local journalist not to record the incident but when the scribe insisted that he reacts, Hegde said he has nothing to say.
