Karnataka: Cop transforms lathi into flute, flaunts skill in viral video

 

Hubli: Chandrakanth, a constable from Hubballi Rural Police station, has transformed his lathi (a defence stick used by the police officials) into a flute. The policeman has also recorded a video of him beating out a tune from one of the famous movies of veteran Sandalwood actor Dr Rajkumar, using the self-fashioned instrument.

The video of the constable playing the flute (lathi) has gone viral on social media. Many opined that this innovation has made people believe that “the lathi does not only cause pain but also cures one's pain when they listen its melodious tune.”

Though opinions vary, what’s for sure is that the tunes played out of this lathi will stick in the minds of people for a long time to come.
