Karnataka coalition crisis: Speaker Ramesh Kumar requests journalists not to trail him

Bengaluru: Speaker of Karnataka Assembly Ramesh Kumar has expressed his displeasure over journalists trailing him everywhere he goes. He said from the airport to the tailor shop to the hospital, wherever he went, journos accompanied him, or were present even before he had arrived. This, he said, did not augur well for the profession of journalism.

The issue relates to journalists seeking information on when Ramesh Kumar would arrive to Bengaluru in order to accept the resignations of disgruntled Congress and JD(S) MLAs.
