At a time of drought, people of a village near Maski in Raichur district drew and poured 550 buckets of water on an idol of God to pray for rains.
Raichur: Residents of Amadihala village, Maski town (Karnataka) drew 550 buckets of water from a well. Using this water amounting to hundreds of litres, they anointed Lord Ramalingeshwara as a bid to propitiate.
What saddens anyone is that the region is facing acute drought and instead of preserving and conserving water, the residents decided to use this water for this purpose.
