Kargil Vijay Diwas: Army officers remember martyrs' sacrifices at Batala

Batala: Army officers in Batala gathered at war memorial to pay tributes to the martyrs who lost their lives during the Kargil war on the occasion of the 20th Kargil Vijay Diwas. Army officers said that there is peace in India due to the sacrifices made by these soldiers who gave their life to the nation. But they expressed disappointment while stating that every year governments make promises to soldiers and families of the martyrs but fail to deliver the same.
