Kallada Travels bus driver arrested for molesting woman passenger

Thiruvananthapuram: Thenhipalam Police on June 20 arrested Kallada Travels reserve driver Johnson Joseph who allegedly tried to molest a Tamil Nadu woman in a moving vehicle.  The woman was travelling from Kannur to Kollam, Kerala, in a Kallada Travels sleeper bus. The accused is identified as Kerala’s Kottayam native Johnson Joseph.

Sources say Joseph was in an inebriated state. According to the woman's complaint, the driver tried to touch the woman inappropriately during the wee hours of Thursday (June 20) when the bus was nearing Kozhikode. The accused was presented before the Parappanangadi judicial first class magistrate court who slapped the accused with non-bailable charges.
