Security has been tightened and checking of vehicles and materials inside will be conducted through scanning machine in Madhopur border in Pathankot, Jammu and Kashmir
Security and checking have been tightened in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab area bordering Pakistan. A new scanning machine has been installed at Madhopur border in Pathankot at a cost of Rs 38 lakh. So far checking was being conducted manually. The scanning machine will locate all materials including arms if any. The assigned people have been trained to operate the scanning machine.
