Bengaluru: Violence broke out at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on December 5 night as a large number of masked men armed with sticks attacked students and teachers and damaged properties on the campus. Around 30 people including JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh were injured. Since then, members of the Left wing have been giving it a political colour and a political debate is going on. The protests at the JNU over the campus attack would show that the Opposition would go to any lengths to use students to serve their political ambitions. We witnessed this in 2015 and we are witnessing the same even today. We tried to explain if JNU has become a hub of political activity and if politics should be banned in JNU as senior journalist Vicky Nanjappa joins us.
