IPS officer touches West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s feet as she feeds cake

Bengaluru:  Police officers are supposed to be neutral. But in a video that has emerged, IPS officer Rajiv Mishra, who is the inspector general of West Zone is seen touching the feet of West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

The video in which the act has been caught is believed to be taken when the chief minister visited Digha last week. She can also be seen feeding cakes to the officer and TMC workers.

A media report noted that the officer in civilian clothes, who is the first recipient of cake is Vineet Goel, inspector general in charge of the chief minister's security. Trinamool MP Shishir Adhikari was third in line to take a bite.
