IMA scam: With no money for daughter's wedding, investor dies of heart attack in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A Bengaluru man who had invested money in the financial investment scheme of I Monetary Advisory (IMA) has died of heart attack. Afzal Pasha, a resident of Pension Mohalla, Bengaluru passed away at 9:30pm, last night (June 13), at Sapathagiri Hospital in Hesaraghatta. He had invested Rs 8 lakh in 2017 (Rs 2 lakh in the name of his wife Qamarunnisa and Rs 3 lakh each in the name of his two daughters). He had saved the money for the wedding of his daughters. The wedding of his other daughter was fixed for August 4. However, as the scam came to the fore and the chances of him getting his money grew slim, and he was under severe pressure and stress. The owner of IMA, Mansoor Khan, is still absconding.
