Hyderabad: Ramprasad, owner of Kamakshi Steels, was stabbed to death in Hyderabad on Saturday. A video of three unidentified men stabbing the industrialist at Punjagutta Police Station limits has come to light. Passers-by rushed him to Yashoda Hospital at Somajiguda, but doctors declared him brought dead. Police suspect that business rivalry with his partner Koganti Satyam is the reason behind the murder. Reports claim that Ramprasad had been asking Satyam to repay a Rs 50 crore loan. Satyam, however, had allegedly been threatening Ramprasad.
A complaint in this regard has been filed by Ramprasad's wife and son. Punjagutta ACP Tirupatanna, inspector Mohan and sub inspectors Srinivas Satish, Chandra Sekhar visited the spot and are examining CCTV footage to establish the identity of the accused.
