Hyderabad airport: Rs 1 crore worth gold paste seized; duo arrested

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad customs officials have seized gold worth over Rs 1 crore from two passengers at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday (May 8).

Airport officials said they detected gold weighing 3.329 kg from two passengers who travelled from Dubai to Hyderabad in an Indigo aircraft.

The gold was recovered in paste form from the undergarments that the passengers were wearing. The case is under investigation.
