How APJ Abdul Kalam inspired India's 'Missile Woman'

Popularly known as India’s ‘Missile Man’, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s commitment, patriotism and vision to make India a strong nation has been an inspiration for millions. A believer in women empowerment, Kalam once famously said, “Empowerment of women leads to development of a good family, good society and ultimately, a good nation.” Today on his 88th birth anniversary, we not only salute this visionary’s contribution to our great nation, but also thank him for nurturing, guiding and inspiring India’s ‘Missile Woman’ – Dr Tessy Thomas.
