Heavy rains: Flood in Hyderabad, Uttara Kannada keep people locked inside houses

Hyderabad/Uttara Kannada: Heavy rains in Karnataka and Telangana have destroyed properties and affected the daily life of people. Here are videos of how the downpour has caused floods and is affecting the people of Hyderabad in Telangana and Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka. At Honnavar, Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district, water was seen gushing through the roads, making it impossible for people to come out of their houses. Schools remain closed today.

Hyderabad too experienced heavy rains and people had to struggle to walk through the flooded roads. In a video, a traffic cop Anjupalli Nagamallu was seen carrying a physically challenged man across the water-logged road. The video has gone viral.
