Panaji: Heavy rain lashed out in several parts of Goa, including Panaji, on Friday, leading to a flood-like situation in several areas.  The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted heavy rainfall across the state and the adjoining area over the next couple of days. The IMD has also warned fishermen in the state against venturing out to sea for the next few days.

Several cars and two-wheelers broke down after being stranded in water. People were seen on roads catching fish which came with the rising water levels.
